The nation marks the 10th anniversary Sunday. In Wayland, an interfaith service will be held at the Islamic Center of Boston from 4:30 to 6:30 Sunday evening. "The (remembrance) event is especially meaningful because of the grave human tragedy that it was, and the whole sequence of tragedies that unfolded from it. We are still not sure if there is any light at the end of the tunnel. Members of the Islamic Center are also taking part in the last leg of a bike ride to benefit Beyond the 11th, the group that supports Afghan widows and children, founded by Susan Retik of Needham and Patti Quigley of Wellesley after their husbands were killed in the 9/11 attacks. "We've committed to raise $2,500 minimum" by sponsoring riders and participating in the 25-mile trek from Sherborn to Boston, Khan said.
