Boston Herald 5/13/12: You’ve gotta have Hart. Last summer, Carson Hart found himself competing in a club lacrosse tournament in Baltimore, facing off against some of the top recruits in the country. Playing for Team Central, he was selected to the Baltimore Summer Kickoff All-Star team and ended up taking faceoffs against Virginia-commit Jeff Kratkey. Hart won 8-of-12 draws against one of the nation’s most highly regarded faceoff specialists, prompting his teammates that day to wonder, “Where did this kid come from?” When Hart told them he played for Wayland High in Massachusetts, the dumbfounded looks on the other players’ faces filled him with pride.

MacDonald a Nominee for America East Women’s Lacrosse Fans’ Choice Player of the Year Honor

University of Vermont 4/22/10: MacDonald a Nominee for America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year Honor. Junior Megan MacDonald (Wayland, Mass.) and sophomore Samantha Stern (Cherry Hills, N.J.) from the University of Vermont are two nominees for the America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year Award. The conference office made the announcement on Thursday. Fans can vote for their favorite America East women's lacrosse player beginning April 22.
