An interactive presentation about the different paths one can take when it comes to being a primary caregiver, aging in place/non-medical home care services, and starting hospice/palliative care.

Presenters include Ellie Andbinder of CareGivers-Well Being, Angela Crocker & Niki Pugach from The Parmenter Foundation and Vikki Levine from Ezra Home Care, LLC.

Ellie Anbinder has always had an inquisitive and questioning part to her DNA; she always asks questions about the “non-obvious” in life and as she has lived her life, has had multiple careers which centered around asking the hard questions and working toward answers to those questions.

Angela Crocker is the executive director of The Parmenter Foundation and serves as the panel moderator. The Parmenter Foundation is a nonprofit  organization that seeks to provide hope and support for MetroWest community members of all ages in need of compassionate end-of-life care or bereavement support.

Vikki Levine has worked in the home care industry for over eight years and has learned that home care services are essential to the overall wellness of family members and primary caregivers. She has been a part of incredible moments of care and empathy with many families. As the need for home care services increases in the future, Vikki hopes to be an educator and resource for her community and for families looking for compassionate care in their homes.

Niki Pugach has had a lifelong passion for end-of-life care and has worked in the field since 1993. She is currently a hospice social worker at Good Shepherd Community Care in Newton, MA. Niki received a Master of Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work in 1982. She resides in Wellesley, MA and enjoys animals, walking and spending time with her family.
