After a year of efforts, the homeowners at 30 Lakeshore Drive overlooking Dudley Pond finally succeeded in convincing Town Meeting on Monday night to approve a compromise that paved the way to replace their aging septic system on two adjacent town-owned parcels of land totaling over 3,600 square feet.
