Kim Reichelt, Executive Director and Webmaster: Kim Reichelt has resided in Wayland for most of her life. She grew up in Wayland, attended Loker School and Wayland Junior High, was a 1984 graduate of Wayland High School, and returned to Wayland in 1995. She has Bachelor's and Master's degrees from MIT. She chaired the Enrollment Subcommittee of the High School Study Committee, served on the Parent Advisory Board of The Children's Way for three years, was webmaster of their site, and has coached soccer and baseball. She has served as Voter Services Chair of the Wayland League of Woman Voters, was the Treasurer of the Wayside Rail-Trail Committee, the Chair of the High School advocacy group, Building the Future, and Claypit PTO Treasurer. She is currently serving on the Electronic Communications Committee. She never misses a chance to do a classroom lice check, volunteers in the Claypit library, and volunteers in the classroom as often as possible. She also works part-time as a Management Consultant for a global UK-based consulting firm. She and her husband have two children at Claypit.

Ian Hecker, Editor-in-Chief: Ian Hecker has resided in Wayland since 2002. He is married and has three children in the Wayland school system, currently in seventh, ninth and eleventh grades. He has served as an appointed alternate to a municipal zoning board of appeals, and was appointed to a study committee examining alternative forms of municipal government, in another community. He also served on the Finance Subcommittee of the Wayland High School Study Committee and has coached for Wayland Youth Soccer. He has been involved in a number of established nonprofit and community organizations, such as United Way, Junior Achievement, Rotary and Leadership Metrowest. He holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell, a law degree from the University of Connecticut and an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU Law School. He is the general counsel of a Boston-area financial institution.
Lawrence J. Krakauer: Lawrence J. Krakauer has lived in Wayland since 1972. He served on the Middle School Building Committee and the Wayland Town Meeting Study Committee, and he volunteers at MIT's Venture Mentoring Service. He has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T, and retired in 2003 after a 33-year career in the high-tech industry. He is married to Margret Krakauer, an artist who teaches art courses to adults and children through Wayland Park and Recreation, and their two daughters were educated in the Wayland public school system. Dr. Krakauer generally uses his middle initial "J", as there are two unrelated Wayland residents named "Lawrence Krakauer". Both use the nickname "Larry", both are in the computer industry, and both received degrees from MIT.
Stephen B. Perlman: Steve Perlman has lived in Wayland since 1973. He served as a member of the Wayland School Committee for 15 years in the 1980s and 1990s. Steve graduated from Brown University in 1967 with a BA in Physics and from Harvard Law School in 1970. After a short stint with the Army, he joined the Boston firm of Ropes & Gray, where he has practiced law for more than 35 years and is a partner. He is married to Joanne Perlman, a former teacher, Wayland Garden Club President, Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) appointee to its Associates Committee, and current Leader for WeightWatchers, Inc. Their daughter Emily is a graduate of the Wayland school system.
