With enormous thanks for the generosity of the Margaret Stuart Lindsay Foundation, Arts Wayland is excited to announce that we are part of a fundraiser and non-profit showcase on Monday, July 29th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Bellforge Art Center in Medfield featuring Peter and Jim Mayer, longtime guitarist and bassist for Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band.
“Songs and Stories from the 12-Volt Man” will highlight the music and adventures from their 35-year partnership with Jimmy Buffett, interspersed with music from their own successful solo careers.
There will be an area inside the event for concertgoers to meet the non-profits and learn about the organizations. The venue will be open from 5 to 8pm, and the performers will join the attendees for a meet-and-greet following the show. The showcase opens at 5 pm, and the concert will begin at 6:30.
