We know talking to your children about bias can be hard, and these two workshops are designed to help parents develop age-appropriate tools to facilitate these important conversations at home.
Some topics that will be addressed include:
— What to do if your child is the target of discrimination?
— What to do if your child is the aggressor?
— What to do if your child is a bystander and how to encourage them to speak up?
— What to do if your child is the aggressor?
— What to do if your child is a bystander and how to encourage them to speak up?
— How to have reciprocal conversations with your teen?
— How to navigate what they see on social media?
We hope you can join us for this free skill-building workshop, made possible by the support of our outstanding sponsors, Wayland PTO, Wayland Dads, and Friends of Wayland Youth and Family Services.
