Trip to Embrace Sculpture in Boston

The new Embrace Sculpture on Boston Common has been hailed as a remarkable piece of public art, and an important reminder about Boston’s role in the lives of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Join the Council on Aging’s trip to see the Embrace Sculpture on Tuesday, May 23. Our van leaves the COA at 10am, and returns by 2pm. Reservations are required; the cost for transportation is $20. A self-guided app about the sculpture and artist is available for use with smart phones. Explore at your own pace. The van will stop at The Street in Chestnut Hill on the way back, where there are several choices for lunch. Contact the COA at 508-358-2990 or coa@wayland.ma.us to reserve a seat on the van.
