With Superintendent of Schools Omar Easy remaining on administrative leave, Wayland Public Schools has hired an acting schools chief for the 2023-24 school year. Former Newton Superintendent of Schools David Fleishman has been named acting superintendent, effective July 1, and will serve for the 2023-24 school year.
