Mosaic Jewelry Workshop – Arts Wayland
Enjoy a night out making your own jewelry. Amy will supply the silver-plated pendant bases and earring blanks and all the glass, china, beads, jewels and bling that you will need to make a unique gift for yourself or for others. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this is a great way to have fun creating something one of a kind for her! The best part–no previous jewelry or mosaic experience is needed. To make your evening more festive, BYOB and snacks to share.
The course fee includes all supplies to make two pieces of jewelry (pendant or pair of earrings). Pendants include a chain. Extra pendant and earring bases are available for an additional fee of $20/base.

Arts Wayland Presents: The Ed Saindon Vibraphone Trio
On Sunday, March 19th at 3 pm at the First Parish Church in Wayland, Arts Wayland is proud to present The Ed Saindon Vibraphone Trio. Internationally renowned vibraphonist Edgar Saindon will join forces with colleague and pianist Neil Olmstead and acoustic bassist Barry Smith for an afternoon of colorful jazz. Referencing the famous Gary Burton/Chick Corea band, this group extends the repertoire from breezy Cole Porter standards to the experimental timbres of Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock. Interweaving sonic colors on familiar tunes, these three Berklee Professors place it all inside a firm rhythmic backbone. In Depth Block Printing Course
In Depth Block Printing Class With Bryan Clocker – Arts Wayland
This is a 6 week course of an in depth learning about block printing. This course will start out with the basic techniques and gradually build to more advanced block printing techniques. In this course you will learn the basics of the multi-step process of producing a print and carving from a linoleum block. The workshop covers a basic history of block printing, several techniques on printing, design and color theory, and a walk through guide of each step of the process. Over the 6 weeks this course will offer 4 projects, and by the end you will have multiple printed linoleum blocks completed!
