Town of Wayland 11/9/22: Wayland Firefighter and Nurse Sister Receive Heroes Among Us Award at Friday’s Celtics Game. Fire Chief Neil McPherson is proud to share that Wayland Firefighter/Paramedic Lindsay Byrne and her twin sister Nurse Nicole Kelly received the Heroes Among Us from the Boston Celtics on Friday. Firefighter Byrne and Nurse Kelly were honored on the court at the Celtic’s Nov. 4 home game against the Chicago Bulls for helping save the life of a woman who became unresponsive on a flight from Boston to Fort Myers earlier this year.
