Wayland Winter Farmers’ Market opens January 8

Wayland Winter Farmers’ Market, Saturdays: 10:30am-2pm,  January 8 – March 12, 2022

Plans are now in place for our 13th Winter season!  We have expanded the number of vendors participating this year to include  70 vendors (50 per week) who will participate throughout the season.

We will have 25 vendors located outdoors under cover, in unheated greenhouses, or under tents. There will be plenty of fresh air! In addition, you will find 25 vendors located indoors, spread throughout the  lower level of Russell’s Garden Center.

Mask wearing will be required of all shoppers and vendors while indoors during market hours 10:30 AM to 2 PM, no matter what your vaccination status is. Masks are not required (but encouraged) for those shopping outdoors. We will have vendors selling prepared foods and hot coffee, which can’t be consumed indoors, however, seating will be available for those who would like to dine outdoors.

We are also bringing back our poplar Sunday Farm Fiber Days on January 23  and March 6 for those who are interested in knitting, spinning, felting, weaving, visiting sheep, petting bunnies, watching spinning wheel and sock making machine demonstrations or purchasing knit, woven, embroidered and felted items. The event hours will be extended: 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. 55 vendors will attend between these two dates. Stay tuned for possible additions to this group.
