Wayland Patch 12/8/21: Wayland Has New Police Chief After Yearlong Search.  After a yearlong search for a new police chief, Wayland has found the right candidate — and didn’t have to look any farther than the public safety building.

Wayland Town Crier 12/7/21: After more than a year as interim, Sean Gibbons named Wayland police chief. After more than a year, Sean Gibbons will be able to remove the “interim” from his title. Town Administrator Louise Miller announced Monday that she has appointed Gibbons as the department’s newest police chief. He will be the town’s 11th chief.
