An Outdoor Performance at Wayland High School

Vokes Players will present a free outdoor production on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 23, 24 and 25 at the Wayland High School Athletic Field. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7PM; Sunday at 5PM. All performances will be located at Wayland High School Athletic Field, 264
Old Connecticut Path, Wayland, MA.

The setting is occupied Paris, 1941, on the eve of his 60th birthday. The great artist Pablo Picasso is summoned to a vault beneath the city by Miss Fischer, a representative of the Ministry of Culture, who tasks the artist with authenticating “a Picasso” among three of his creations.

The production, featuring Chris Cardoni of Billerica and Christina Petrillo of Newton, is directed by Donnie Baillargeon of Marlborough.

“A provocative theatrical speculation…explores issues of artistic inspiration and censorship…Hatcher’s dialogue is full of humor, passion, and insight…their interaction has sexual undertones that add to the crackling dynamic of their relationship.” -TheaterMania

No reservations are needed to attend. Go to Vokes Players’ website for more details regarding this free outdoor event.

We hope to see you there.
