Town Meeting and Special Town Meeting are coming up on September 12 and 13. This week, the Buzz will delve into five articles that will be discussed and debated there. They are: 1) repeal of Chapter 53 of the Acts of 2010 so as to allow newly elected officials to take office the day after their election; 2) the FY 2021 Town Budget; 3) access and drainage easement with regard to the River’s Edge development; 4) reallocation of previously appropriated funds for the Council on Aging/Community Center; and 5) repeal of Chapter 193 of the Town Code to simplify procedures for protecting our water resources and wildlife habitat.
