Wayland Town Crier 3/7/19: Snags in Wayland’s Rivers Edge project. A proposed 188-unit housing complex known as Rivers Edge that the town needs to meet a state affordable-housing threshold has hit a few snags. Asbestos cleanup remains unfinished at the 484-490 Boston Post Road property, according to the state Department of Environmental Protection. Developer Wood Partners also needs waivers from the local Board of Health to build a wastewater treatment plant on the property.
