Wheels for the
World
Wheels for the World collects, restores, and distributes wheelchairs, walkers, and metal canes and crutches to the disabled in developing countries, such as Ghana, Cuba, Honduras, Romania and the Ukraine. In these countries the disabled are either discarded or left to drag themselves around. Wheels for the World New England covers all of the New England states and is based in Wayland. Volunteers are needed to help pick up donated items. Donations are also needed to help this ministry to continue to thrive.
