A reminder that citizens entitled to vote at regular polling places on Tuesday, November 17th between 7am and 8pm on a debt exclusion ballot question to issue bonds to expand and modernize Wayland High School.  A majority vote decides the question.

A Special Town Meeting will begin at 7:30pm at the High School Field House to consider ten articles, including the appropriation for the high school expansion and modernization project and an amendment to the zoning bylaw for Town Center.  Both of these articles require a two-third's vote to approve.  Also on the Warrant is an article adopting the local option meals excise tax, an article establishing a sex offender residency restriction bylaw, and a zoning article encouraging renewable or alternative energy research and development activities.

Because of the anticipated large turnout, voters are encouraged to car-pool and to arrive early to assure entry prior to the beginning of Town Meeting.  Doors open at 6pm.  Satellite parking with continuous shuttle bus service will be offered from Wayland Middle School.

A reminder that the Board of Selectmen will not meet on Monday (November 16).
