Lexington Dispatch 9/17/09: Sports radio without all the yelling. For sports fans who like the radio but don’t like shouting, there aren’t a lot of options out there.

Enter Jeff Tiberii, not just a public radio host but a veritable sports nut.

Tiberii does a weekly sports commentary for the National Public Radio affiliate in the Piedmont Triad, WFDD. The commentaries, only a few minutes long, are recorded Sundays and broadcast twice on Mondays, at 7:30 a.m. during “Morning Edition” and at 5:30 p.m. during “All Things Considered.”
