Town Center project gets permit from Department of Environmental Protection

Wayland Town Crier 1/28/10: Town Center project gets permit from Department of Environmental Protection. Frank Dougherty, project manager for the proposed Town Center development, cited progress on the development last week as the state Department of Environmental Protection issued a conservation permit for the project. In another push to advance the project, Twenty Wayland presented a settlement proposal to the town’s Historic District Commission (HDC) last week in an attempt to resolve recent disagreements involving the placement of a traffic light at the intersection of routes 27 and 126.
