Is abuse an excuse? Do you excuse abuse? Can abuse seduce? Can you refuse abuse? Confused?

There will be a lecture and discussion titled "Relationships:  Are They Healthy or Not?" sponsored by The Youth Empowerment & Support (YES) Committee of the Sudbury United Methodist Church. The invited speaker is Jo Patterson, MPH/MSW, Community Educator for REACH Beyond Domestic Violence.   Jo Patterson will discuss evaluating relationships, what’s healthy and what’s not, values, boundaries, dating, what are the signs of good relationships going bad and what friends can do about it.  The workshop is open to the public and is appropriate for teens in grades 8 through 12.
