Screening of Holocaust documentary at Wayland Library. In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day on Wednesday, Jan. 27, the Wayland Library will host a screening and discussion of a documentary titled "Angels of Austria: The Church That Reached Out to Holocaust Survivors." All of her adult life, Trudy Faust – a Jewish refugee from Austria – blamed herself for failing to rescue her father from the Nazis. Finally, in 1994, as Trudy felt it was time to unload her story and began sharing her father’s letters, she received an unusual invitation from an obscure church in Austria asking her to return to her hometown to befriend, and perhaps even forgive, the descendants of the Nazi regime.
