Volunteers needed for search for new Middle School principal

Beginning this month, the Wayland Public Schools will begin a principal search to find a replacement for John Kavaleski, principal of Wayland Middle School.  The district will use the same successful search procedure that has been used for other principal searches and administrative vacancies dating back to 1994 to advertise, screen and hire a new Middle School principal.

In addition to seeking information from focus groups, the district is calling for a limited number of volunteers to serve on one of the interview committees. For a complete description of the interview process, click here and review Superintendent Gary Burton’s letter to parents.  Community members wishing to serve should download and complete the application form, and return it to Assistant Superintendent Brad Crozier . Residents who are chosen for the interview committee will be required to attend an interview training session on February 24 from 9-10am, and finalist candidate interviews on March 2 and/or March 4 (9am-3pm, tentatively).
