Wayland Town Crier 11/11/09: Getting ready for next week’s special Town Meeting. Questions from residents who attended a special Town Meeting warrant hearing provided a preview of the articles that may generate the most debate on the floor of Town Meeting next week.

Special Town Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the High School’s Field House and is expected to attract a sizeable number of voters. Town Meeting will continue to the next night, Nov. 19, if necessary.

Two articles that require a two-thirds majority vote – the High School expansion and modernization project, and a zoning amendment reducing the number of affordable units in the proposed Town Center project – are expected to be the hottest issues.
