Forum for Democratic Candidates for Senate

The Democratic Senatorial candidates will come to Lincoln to present their case for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the passing of Sen. Ted Kennedy. This is expected to be the last of the large senatorial candidate forums in the area north and west of Boston before the primary on Tuesday, December 8.  The candidates will respond to written questions from the audience, which can be addressed to an individual candidate or to all candidates. The candidates will have the opportunity to give a closing statement. Joe Mullin of Weston will moderate the forum.  The Third Middlesex Senatorial District Democrats, the Fourth Middlesex Senatorial District Democrats and the Greater Lowell Area Democrats will sponsor the U.S. Senatorial Democratic forum. The Lincoln Democratic Town Committee will host the event.  The forum will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Lincoln Schools’ Donaldson Auditorium in the Brooks Building, 6 Ballfield Road, Lincoln.  Ballfield Road is off Lincoln Road, between Town Hall and the railroad station.  The doors open at 12:30pm, with seating at 12:45pm. The forum will start at 1pm and end at 2:30pm.
Campaign literature for each candidate will be allowed in the lobby outside the auditorium, but campaign literature or signs will not be allowed inside the auditorium.
