In September, the League of Women Voters of Wayland sponsored a Walkable Community Workshop that inspired a number of residents to work toward making Wayland more pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly. If you would like to be able to go from the post office to Whole Foods or Russell’s without having to drive from place to place, if you would like sidewalks and bike paths that connect, if you would like to be able to cross streets safely, and if you have ideas, time, and interest in creating a more welcoming community for walkers and bikers, please come to a meeting on Sunday, November 15th at 4 p.m. in the Public Safety Building.
