Milford Daily News 11/1/09: Update sought for alimony criteria in Massachusetts. Modern marriage is not always a "'til death do us part" affair, but in Massachusetts, alimony can last a lifetime. Many local legislators, including Wayland's representatives,  Rep. Tom Conroy and Sen. Scott Brown, and family law attorneys agree time has come to update the state's alimony system, which they say allows judges little leeway to set a limit on the duration of spousal support payments.
