ATTN. PARENTS OF 3rd-6th grade Baseball players, evaluations will be held on Sunday February 7th, so please register early!  More details will follow.

The Wayland Baseball and Softball Organization has evaluated many new program offerings as we move ahead and is excited by some of the recent changes.

The goals of the new programs are to:

1.      Enhance the skill development programs
2.      Strengthen coaching skills
3.      More effective use of volunteer resources.
4.      Enhanced flexibility and coordination with parents to accommodate changing schedules and budgets.
 
We are looking at many new and exciting program options for the spring outlined below.

We are also very excited to be expanding our partnership with Frozen Ropes of Natick which will allow us to offer highly trained skill programs to our members.

Some of the changes you will notice include:
1.  Expanded skill development sessions using certified trainers from Frozen Ropes and structured training programs. 
2.  Modifications to the grade based programs to better align programs with other town based activities to limit conflicts.
3.  Expanded options for the 7th grade – players who are eligible Little League Age 12 (birthdates after April 30) may continue to participate in the Major League program.
