Wayland Town Crier 10/9/09: Wayland artist’s work sings . Like the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus, artist Yu-Wen Wu thinks you never step twice in the same river.

As if caught in a perpetual rip tide, the Wayland resident makes lovely, haunting images of the seeming mutability of life.

Displayed at the Danforth Museum of Art, her intriguing exhibit, “Suspended: A Song Cycle,” seems to merge the effects of painting and cartography, music and photography into a gallery-sized installation.
