Healthy Relationships & Teen Sexuality

The Youth Empowerment & Support (YES) Committee of the Sudbury United Methodist Church invites the public (parents and other adults) to a lecture and discussion with Jo Patterson, MPH/MSW, Community Educator for REACH Beyond Domestic Violence on “Healthy Relationships & Teen Sexuality?” Jo Patterson will discuss dating violence, warning signs, and how to promote healthy relationships. Adults are welcome.

Parents in the Metrowest are increasingly concerned about risky sexual behavior and dating violence amongst our youth, as well as other serious issues. YES Committee has launched a series of events designed to help parents understand the issues and learn how to deal with the challenges.
This lecture and discussion is one of the activities planned in the series.

About the YES Committee; the mission of the YES (Youth Empowerment and Support) Committee is to reach out to the community to support and empower youth and families to face current issues together. Sponsored by the Sudbury United Methodist Church, and open to the entire community, our goal is to become a community-wide resource for parents and their kids, and to offer programming and events that assist families, as kids grow into young adults.
