Metrowest Daily News 7/3/09: Registry to close Framingham branch, 10 other locations. The Registry of Motor Vehicles plans to close its branch on Framingham’s Pearl Street branch Aug. 14 and open a new express location in Natick the following Monday as part of a $1.7 million reorganization plan. The new branch in the Natick service area on the Mass. Turnpike will also allow access from Rte. 27. It will offer license and registration services only. Despite the branch closing, the registry plans to continue to conduct road tests in Framingham.
