A colorful and informative exhibit to honor our veterans for their sacrifices to preserve all of our Freedoms is on display on the lower floor of the Wayland Library for this month of November. It features selected photos with story captions from the BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE, a beautiful new photo of the Memorial with the flags flying in formation, the full text of the USMC Chaplin, Denis Edward O'Brien's famous essay: WHAT IS A VET, a description of the WHS annual Freedom Prize essay contest, and a Photo of a Soldier in Baghdad helping to provide humanitarian assistance on her own time as many of our soldiers have done, rebuilding schools, orphanages, and marketplaces.
