Wayland Town Crier 5/28/09: Another major award for Wayland Student Press Network. The Wayland Student Press Network (WSPN), a popular Wayland High School student-run online newspaper, recently won The Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Student Site of 2009. Every year the Webby is presented to people and organizations for excellence on the Internet, awarded by the International Academy of Sciences. After more than 500,000 people voted worldwide, WSPN was named the best student Web site in the world. The public will be able to view the award ceremony on June 9, on The Webby Awards’ YouTube channel. WSPN can be accessed at www.waylandstudentpress.com.
