Wayland Town Crier 5/28/09: ‘Wayland A-Z’: ‘M’ is for ‘Memorials and Markers’. Memorials in Wayland? What memorials? Where are they? These questions may never surface but if asked, here are some answers. Most of the memorials and markers were erected in Wayland during the 20th century. They commemorate significant events and important sites in town and, with the exception of eight Concord soldiers, memorialize Wayland people.
