MOTHER & SON BOWLING EVENT Sun, May 17
Celebrate Mother’s Day a week late. This is a special day just for moms and sons. We hold events especially for girls (Father/Daughter Valentine’s Dance and Mother/Daughter Fashion Show so we wanted a special day for moms and sons.
Come join us for bowling and pizza. There will be prizes for the winning teams.
At: Fairway Bowling, 721 Worcester Rd., Framingham
Time: 2:00pm—3:40pm (1 hour bowling, 3/4half hour
for prizes and late lunch)
Fee: $25 per couple ($5 for extra child)
Children ages 6—11 with mother
FATHER’S DAY ORIENTEERING & GEOCASHING Sat., June 20
Join Peter Galloni from our popular Challenger Adventure programs. Use a map and compass to navigate from point to point in unfamiliar terrain. You will receive a map to locate defined points. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers called geocaches. Pack a lunch, snacks and water. You will eat on the trail.
At Hale Reservation in Westwood
Fee: $50 / family Time: 10:00am -2:00pm
Instructor will supply GPS’s, but if you have one, you are welcome to bring it.
