Wayland resident arraigned on charges of Larceny, charged with embezzling from the Town

Larceny Over $250

On Tuesday, November 17th, 2009, Dale C. Sicotte (Age 48) of 12 Willard Street, Wayland, was arraigned in Framingham District Court, on charges of Larceny Over $250.   The charges stem from an investigation conducted by Wayland Detectives and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Public Prosecution, Corruption and Technology Unit into missing funds from the Town of Wayland’s Treasurer’s Office.

The charges allege that Sicotte had embezzled in excess of $30,000 from the town between September 26th, 2006 and June 25th, 2009, during the course of her employment as a Department Assistant in the Treasurer’s Office. Sicotte, whose employment was terminated on July 13th, 2009, had worked for the town since 1991.

A court date of 12/21/2009 was set for a pre-trial hearing.
