Wayland Town Crier 11/6/09:  Heading to war with a paintbrush.  The Veterans Day program in Wayland will be especially memorable this year because of the addition of a spectacular display of oil paintings, representing only a small fraction of the work produced by artist Edward Brodney in the jungles of the South Pacific during World War II.
