Learn about internship program at library.

The Education Cooperative invites parents and students to an information session about our summer and academic year internship program on Tuesday, March 3 at Wayland Library from 7 to 8 p.m. In addition, we will also provide information on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Wayland High School’s Sophomore Parent Night. These custom 60-hour unpaid internships provide valuable hands-on career exploration opportunities for students that have successfully completed two years of high school or are currently enrolled in a college or university. Students are placed in a suitable career strand of their choice. Each student is assigned an internship coordinator who works with professionals willing to share their knowledge and expertise to help these students make choices that effect their lives for college and beyond. Students may receive academic credit after the successful completion of their internship. For more information you can visit the TEC Coop Web site, call 781-326-2473, ext. 121, or send e-mail.
