Wayland Town Crier 2/19/09: Plans evolving to allow for ‘aging in place’ . A pair of meetings held last week at the Town Building have started to flesh out the concept of creating a local organization based on the model of Beacon Hill Village (BHV) in Boston, a nonprofit group that seeks to enhance the lives of older people in the city’s Back Bay, Beacon Hill, West End, and nearby neighborhoods so as to allow them more options for "aging in place." The Independent Living Options Taskforce (ILOT) is now looking for volunteers for committees that will continue the effort.
