Each year, the League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle, along with the Wild and Scenic River Stewardship Council, sponsors an annual River Stewardship Award. The award honors outstanding advocates for the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord Rivers. The 2009 Awards Ceremony will be held on June 12, 2009. Help honor outstanding advocates for the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord Rivers by nominating an advocate for the rivers. Application deadline: March 31, 2009.
