Wayland Town Crier 2/11/09: Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern District Junior Festival . Twenty-four student musicians from Wayland have been selected to participate in the 2009 Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern District Junior Festival. Overall, 1,063 students from 30 Eastern Massachusetts communities attended auditions on Jan. 31 at Concord-Carlisle High School. From these auditions, the highest scoring seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade students were selected to perform in the festival ensembles.
