Default Moody's Take on Wayland: Top Bond Rating (Aaa)

Moody's issued a report assigning Wayland it's top bond rating. This is a very interesting report, and well-worth a read.

it is available here: Moody's Report on Wayland

They say, for example: in capital letters, near the start of the three-page report: "IMPROVED AND HEALTHY FINANCIAL POSITION EXPECTED TO REMAIN STABLE WITH CONSERVATIVE BUDGETING PRACTICES AND STRONG HISTORY OF VOTER-APPROVED OPERATING OVERRIDES"

    Default Read the Moody's Report

People should read the report. The sole value of it is not about the maintenance of the Aaa rating as relates to overrides, but also about the praising of the way the town is run. I think the Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee deserve a round of applause. You included, Alan. :-)
