Wayland Master Plan Advisory Study Committee Volunteers Wanted

The Wayland Planning Board is looking for residents interested in serving on the newly created Wayland Master Plan Advisory Study Committee. The Planning Board will be appointing three members to the eleven-member Master Plan Advisory Study Committee, with additional representation coming from other Town Boards and Committees. The Committee, which was created at the 2008 Special Fall Town Meeting, was charged with reviewing the 2004 Master Plan, assessing the implementation status of the Plan’s goals and recommendations, and making recommendations to the Planning Board for amendments to the Plan to reflect recent developments and changing to land use trends. The Wayland Master Plan Advisory Study Committee will serve under the guidance of the Planning Board and will serve for up to 18 months. Interested residents who wish to serve as Planning Board appointees are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Wayland Planning Board by January 16, 2009.
