Wayland residents learn about benefits of time bank

Wayland Town Crier 1/26/10:  Wayland residents learn about benefits of time bank. Residents of Wayland and surrounding communities are being invited to join Cambridge-based Time Trade Circle, a time-bartering community that organizers say is the largest all-volunteer organization of its kind in the country. According to Carol Moses, Time Trade Circle’s orientation and outreach coordinator, who met with potential participants recently at the Wayland Library, the group just surpassed the 500-member mark. While most of the members live in Cambridge and Somerville, the remainder are within an hour in any direction, even as far west as Worcester. Visit their website for more information.
