Wayland Republican Town Committee announces caucus date

The Wayland Republican Town Committee announced today that they will hold a caucus on Thursday January 28th, 7:30PM at Traditions of Wayland, 10 Green Way to elect delegates to the 2010 Massachusetts Republican State Convention.

Wayland Republican Town Committee Chair John Toto said: “This is an exciting time to be a Republican.  We are growing the Party from the grassroots up, and look forward to the upcoming caucus and convention. Massachusetts Republicans are offering voters a real choice in 2010.   Voters have had enough of the overspending, overtaxing and corruption caused by lack of political balance on Beacon Hill.”

The 2010 Massachusetts Republican State Convention will be held in Worcester at the DCU Center on April 17, 2010. Thousands of delegates and guests from across Massachusetts are expected to attend. The Party convention will serve to nominate Republican candidates for statewide office, and showcase the ideals and leadership of the Massachusetts Republican Party.

Any registered Wayland Republican as of December 1, 2009 is eligible to be a delegate and we encourage you to attend this special meeting. Delegates are elected by the Town committee members who are present at the delegate selection meeting.  Any questions please contact Chairman John Toto at 508-380-5932 or john@waylandgop.com
