At yesterday’s state rowing championships regatta on Lake Quinsigamond, bright sunshine and vibrant foliage provided a perfect backdrop for Wayland-Weston crews capturing medals in a number of Varsity three-mile and Novice two-mile events. On the strength of these finishes, the team repeated recent years' sweeps as state champions all three of the capstone trophy categories:
• Girls Team (also won by Wayland-Weston in 2008 and 2007)

• Overall Team Points (also Wayland-Weston in 2008, 2007, 2005)
