Great Pumpkin Contest at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury at their weekly Farmers’ Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the field across the street from the historic inn. It’s time to judge the pumpkins that were grown from the seed packets distributed to school-age children last April by the Sudbury Agricultural Commission. The judging will take place from 11am-12pm, so pumpkins must be brought to the event early in order to be considered for a variety of prizes. Bring the entire family for an afternoon of fall fun and autumn treats that include a petting zoo presented by the 4-H Club; outdoor children’s games; special fall food and snacks; door prizes; and much more!
