Internationally known writer debuts in US

Wayland Town Crier 9/24/09: Internationally known writer debuts in U.S.. Between working as a doctor, screenwriter, archaeologist and CEO of his own pharmaceutical company, Glenn Cooper hasn’t exactly led the indolent lifestyle that one would typically expect from an internationally famous author.

But with a debut novel that has been translated into 26 different languages, sold simultaneously to three different publishers, and carved a niche across numerous European bestseller lists, there isn’t much that is typical about the Wayland author.

His book, released in the U.S. this summer and titled “Secret of the Seventh Son”, is a thriller that features jaded FBI agent Will Piper’s investigation into the seemingly unrelated deaths of nine strangers in New York City amid a complex web of pre-destination, free will, and one of history’s best kept secrets.
