Metrowest Daily News 9/9/09: Disabled advocates protest changes to The RIDE. Advocates for the disabled went to selectmen last night to protest changes to transportation services for disabled made by the MetroWest Regional Transportation Authority.

Representatives of the Natick and Framingham disability commissions alerted selectmen about the two-tiered system for users of The RIDE, with those who have used the service before July 1, 2009 getting the same service as before but those starting after that date having fewer hours when they can get rides.
