Many Thursdays, October-May, Great Presenter Series, Wayland Library, 7:30-9pm

Great Presenters Series: This year we have organized a series of programs by local experts. The series started on the evening of October 1 when technology leader John Landry will answer the question “What’s Next in the Tech World?”

It continues on October 8 with Sudbury Valley Trustees' Ron McAdow and Marylynn Gentry.  Do you want to know more about the animals that live in our area and what we can do to ensure that they continue to be able to survive in the countryside around Boston?

The Wayland Public Library GREAT PRESENTERS SERIES announces it second program, featuring a fascinating introduction to rarely seen local animals.  Ron McAdow and Marylynn Gentry will show slides of wildlife found in our region and explain how wildlife habitat is conserved by the Sudbury Valley Trustees.  SVT’s motion-triggered cameras have captured native wildlife images not often observed in the wild.  Of particular interest are photographs recording wildlife using four passageways under Route 2.

Sudbury Valley Trustees was founded in Wayland 55 years ago to save a place for nature in our area by conserving land in Wayland and 35 surrounding towns.   McAdow is Executive Director of SVT and Gentry is a current Board member, having recently stepped down as President.

The purpose of the Library’s GREAT PRESENTERS SERIES is to tap local experts to share their knowledge with the community.  More information about the series speakers is available on Library website.
